Comic strip "Claire"

Question:
You never know what shows up on Chron.com. I found samples of this comic called "Claire." Don't know much, and can't read the copyright line in the monitor, so I don't know who syndicated it. And obviously, Google search didn't help.
So, if anyone has more info, let me know - http://www.chron.com/apps/comics/showComic.mpl?week=1&date=2000/4/17&...

Answer:
-(c) 2000 Doug Shannon distributed by KFS.

-Found via a Google search
http://www.astronerdboy.com/comic-strips/kiosks/advice/D-Shannon.html

-As mentioned in that astronerdboy article it started as "Claire and Weber". I have it starting January 5, 1998. No end date, but the Chron archives carry it to December 30, 2000 as a daily. I can dig up a Santa Rosa Press Democrat
(Shannon's hometown paper) article that says they are replacing the Sunday "Claire" with "Prince Valiant" beginning January 14, 2001.
(It also says that the syndicate was terminating the strip, not Shannon.)
